After a couple years of extensive research and testing of the highly advanced and complex McLaren platforms, the HyperCar Development Team decided it was time to open an R&D facility in a location with a wealth of resources to develop these Hyper McLarens. In the beginning of 2015, HyperCar Development announced the opening of their Charlotte area facility. This will serve as the R&D headquarters for the multi-phase development programs of the McLaren model line-up.

The location is ideal as it provides access to some of the area’s top racing componentry, technical research, and limitless abilities of machine shops. This private facility is not open to the public.
