The Hyper800 MP4-12C from the HyperCar Development Team made an appearance at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in Desert Center, California on December 30, 2015. This one-of-a-kind vehicle was there to showcase its performance through a series of shakedown tests during its West Coast debut. This track day also featured some very special hot laps with professional athlete CJ Wilson’s McLaren P1.

HyperCar Development is a first-of-its-kind company that transforms stock McLaren platforms into hypercar machines performing equally on city streets, as well as racetracks, without compromise to overall vehicle integrity. The company is headquartered in Newport Beach, California while its Research & Development operations are in Charlotte, North Carolina.

HyperCar Development recently announced it has begun work on development program code named Hyper-XP2. This development phase is said to change the land speed standard of hypercars worldwide.
